- Lake County Run 4/14I was really bummed out this week because I started to see some swelling in my right knee. The good news is that after the rest and taking care of myself I was able to go out and set a new personal best for quickest mile and longest run.
- Lake County Run 4/4/23I feel like this was a really important run for me. It was the first time I was able to continuously run through the workout and the extra 5-minute run period that was optional.
- Lake County Run 4/2/23This mornings run was really good. I’m finally starting to be able to head out without any of the lower back pain. I also tend to feel a little bit of pain in my right knee from a high school tear in my ACL, MCL and Meniscus. The weird thing was after my warmup and starting to run the pain seemed to disappear. Hoping that running will help improve strength in a few areas.
- Lake Louisa HikeLake Louisa is a beautiful state park that is only a few miles from our house. There are a lot of activities and things to do at the park like hiking trails, horseback riding, kayaking, and camping.
- Lake County Run 3/30Another personal best set with a strait 15 minute run. It may not be a lot to people who actually run or have been active, but it’s the first time in a long time I’ve ran over a mile strait.
